• Wayleave(ROW)/Grant of Rights(GOR) verification (ownership, expiry, validity)

• Independent Communications Authority of South Africa(ICASA) licence documentation compliance

• Bill of Quantity(BOQ) and Bill of Material(BOM) validation (home passes, material quantities)

• Verification of optimal and efficient network site surveys, network planning and/or network design

• Verification of horizontal directional drill and impact moling plans

• Verified home pass and drop lists with GPS coordinates

Construction Quality Assurance

• Health & Safety compliance: checklists, registers, PPE, audits and site protocols

• Civil & aerial inspection reports with grading metrics

• Duct Integrity Testing(DIT) and Dynamic Cone Penetration(DCP) Testing

• Photo-verified trenching, drop fibre, Optical Network Terminal(ONT)/Optical Network Unit(ONU), pole settings, and installations

• Verification of fibre splicing photos, labelling, slack, OTDR, IOLM, power meter readings and splice diagrams.

• Technical verification of all redline mark-ups applied to the site drawings. The objective is to ensure that all changes and deviations captured during construction have been accurately and comprehensively incorporated into the final digital as-built drawings.

• Live backhaul testing at Point of Presence (Optical Line Terminal, Splitters, Patch Panels and Cabinets)

• Verify all material data sheets accordantly to material specification and installation on fibre infrastructure.

• This verification process is critical to confirm the integrity, traceability, and compliance of the project record documentation.

Handover Documentation(HOD)

• Consolidated handover documentation including planning & design, as-builts, data packs, test summaries, and sign-off templates into online folders and share with the clients.

Fibre Network Deployment, Scope of Work Includes

Civil Works

• Trenching, duct, pipe and conduit laying, backfilling, manhole, handhole, boundary boxes and wall boxes installation.

• Duct Integrity Testing(DIT) and Dynamic Cone Penetration(DCP) Testing

• Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) scanning for underground service detection and mapping

• Horizontal directional drilling and impact moling.

• In-road micro trenching

Aerial Line Construction (ALC)

• Pole placement, pole setting to specifications, cementing, stringing, and structural support installations

Fibre Infrastructure

• Floating or hauling of fibre optic cables in underground duct or sleeve infrastructure.

• Stringing of aerial/overhead fibre optic infrastructure.

Point of Presents

• Construct Point of Present(POP) with included palisades, POP enclosure, all electrical rectifier, invertor, lithium-ion backup batteries and Optical Line Terminal(OLT).

Splicing & Testing

• Splicing as per splicing diagram, labelling, slack management as per client-specification

• Power meter, OTDR, and IOLM testing with Excel summaries and photographic records

Home Drops

• Trenching, fibre routing, drop fibre and ONT/ONU installation with GPS and timestamped photo logs
